Norton-binding Mirna By Enu Mediated Mutagenesis Reveals Importance İn Cholesterol Biosynthesis İn Mus Musculus
Cholesterol biosynthesis is highly regulated process because it has fundamental and variable cellular functions. miRNAs form and maintain one of the regulation mechanisms. Particularly in this paper, Norton-Binding micro RNA (NB-mir) regulation on Norton protein level in the liver of Mus musculus was focused on and its regulation was clarified by analyzing ENU-mediated mutant (ENU-M) mice. Mutant mice analysis and comparison with wild type claims that NB-mir plays an essential role on Norton protein regulation and cholesterol maintenance. Dysfunctionality of NB-mir causes dysregulation of Norton protein and cholesterol biosynthesis by upregulating Norton protein activity and increasing cholesterol levels in Mus musculus.
